Biography
Cyndy Floyd is a pioneering leader who made history as the first woman elected as Pompano Beach City Commissioner for District 5. She proudly holds the distinction of being the first African American woman to achieve this milestone. Her election marks a significant moment in Pompano Beach, breaking barriers and setting a new standard for representation.
District 5 is made up of 46.7% African Americans, 38.6% White (Non-Hispanic), 5.13% White (Hispanic) and the remaining 5.46% being Other. Cyndy is an active leader with a passion to help the most vulnerable; our children and our seniors.
